Method: Suction cups are placed on certain areas of the body and left in place for approx. 20 minutes. Acupuncture will take place before or after the cupping portion of this treatment.

Acupuncture | Add Tui Na
$180 | approx. 1.5 hours
Origins: Tui Na (twee-nah) is an ancient Chinese deep tissue massage focusing on meridians and acu-points.
Goods: Tui Na massage is also an immune booster, and it is very effective to treat pain and invigorate and open up the meridians and collaterals.
Method: Deep massage using elbow, forearm and hands and specialized techniques along the meridians. Acupuncture will be performed before or after the massage portion of Tui Na massage.
Side effects: Immediate relaxation and pain relief. In rare cases where pain has been chronic, symptoms may worsen before they get better (also known as a 'healing crisis' triggered by the treatment). Don't worry - this means that the body is beginning to heal itself but a series of treatments may be needed.

Origins: Acupuncture has been used for centuries to treat the body as a whole and heal multiple symptoms and ailments at the same time.
Goods: Acupuncture is a very effective treatment for pain, emotions, fertility, stress, sleep disorders, abnormal periods, menopause, and skin disorders such as acne. Acupuncture can be very beneficial in conjunction with cancer treatment, and is also an effective treatment for depression and anxiety. Acupuncture has also been used for centuries as a cosmetic protocol to rejuvenate the skin (*see below to learn more about cosmetic acupuncture*).
Method: Small, tiny stainless steel needles are inserted into 'acu-points' to stimulate and unblock qi or 'chi'.
Side effects: A calm, light and 'floaty' state of body/mind, and an energized feeling. In uncommon cases, some may feel lightheaded. Sometimes there can also be a 'achy' or tingling feeling where the energy has been moving in the body. If so, take it slow and drink plenty of water.
